Rachel should be dead. It's typically what happens when your throat gets torn out.





Here's something special about Rachel: despite being gorgeous, smart, athletic, popular, and obsessed with shopping, when someone gave her a war and a weapon, she ran with it. She became the warrior she needed to be to help her friends save the world, and she was surprisingly good at it.

Good enough to scare her friends - and sometimes herself, too.

Here's another thing about Rachel: when the time came, she was ready to give up her life for the sake of the world. Her leader, her general of sorts, and definitely her cousin, gave the order. She didn't like it, but she did it, went out with the order, made the kill, and was killed in return. A warrior to the last, dealing a crucial blow to the enemy in exchange for her own life.

Here's something else about Rachel that she didn't learn until recently: the universe considers her to be pretty damn valuable. Valuable enough to be hand-picked for a new world, a world with wars but less rules, a world with innocent people that needed protecting.
